As a five-star prospect coming out of high school, Whitehead had a lot of hype around him heading into his freshman season at Duke. Unfortunately, a preseason foot injury caused him to miss their first three games, and it took him a while to get back up to speed. He didnâ??t have the season that many expected, but heâ??s still so young. However, a second foot surgery means we may have to wait a little longer to see Whitehead in an NBA game. He also projects to be a really good shooter in the NBA. Brooklyn is in need of additional shooting to play off of Mikal Bridges, and Whitehead certainly fits the bill, provided he remains healthy. The hope is that he'll be healthy when training camp begins in the fall.
