Jamal Cain accounted for 20 points (6-of-15 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), seven rebounds, one steal and three three-pointers in 27 minutes in Thursday’s loss to the Bucks.
Jamal Cain (illness) is not on the injury report against the Mavericks on Friday.
Cain missed the Pelicans’ final game before the All-Star break, but he should be available to play against Dallas. Cain, who is on a two-way contract, has only played in 21 games this season, which means that he won’t have to worry about his games capping out at 50, since New Orleans only has 27 games left this year.
Jamal Cain (illness) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Kings.
Cain appeared in three of New Orleans’ last five games, most recently logging seven minutes off the bench in a February 10 loss to Oklahoma City. Given the Pelicans’ place in the Western Conference (last), Cain may have opportunities to contribute later in the season.
Jamal Cain (right ankle sprain) will not play in Friday’s game against the Grizzlies.
Cain’s continued absence will not significantly impact fantasy basketball, even with the Pelicans’ many injuries. It’s safe to leave him on the waiver wire when healthy.
