According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Patrick Baldwin is part of the trade with the Warriors headlined by Chris Paul.
Baldwin wasn't initially announced as being part of the deal, but he will also be headed to Washington. Jordan Poole is the headliner, but Baldwin and Ryan Rollins will have the opportunity to earn credible minutes on a rebuilding team. Baldwin was dealing with a toe injury during the postseason, so making sure he's healthy and can play in Summer League may be the first order of business for the Wizards once the deal becomes official.
Patrick Baldwin (left toe soreness) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Lakers.
After playing the final five minutes of Golden State's blowout loss in Game 3, Baldwin was not available for Game 4. Whether he's cleared or not, the rookie's status will not impact the Warriors' rotation.
Patrick Baldwin (left toe soreness) is out Monday against the Lakers.
PBJ logged five minutes Saturday, racking up zero counting stats and missing both of his field goal attempts. He only saw action due to the blowout nature of the contest, so even if Baldwin is available in future contests, he's unlikely to garner many minutes.
Patrick Baldwin (left toe soreness) is available for Saturday's matchup with the Lakers.
PBJ is healthy enough to play, but unless this is another 27-point drubbing, we can't imagine he takes the court.
