Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd told reporters Kessler Edwards won’t play in Friday’s game against the Pistons.

Kessler Edwards recorded a double-double on Monday with 22 points (9-of-12 FGs), 11 rebounds, three assists and one steal against the Spurs.

Kessler Edwards shot 3-of-5 from the field in Monday’s loss to the Kings, scoring six points with one rebound, one assist, two steals, and two blocks in 26 minutes.

The Mavericks will start Kyrie Irving, Dante Exum, Klay Thompson, Kessler Edwards and Daniel Gafford against the Kings on Monday.
