Per the league’s rules, players on two-way contracts are only eligbile to be available for 50 NBA games and maintain two-way status, so he will spend the rest of the regular season with the College Park Skyhawks. Atlanta only had nine players available for Saturday’s game against Houston, which will likely force Kobe Bufkin and AJ Griffin to play rotation minutes. Aside from that, this won’t impact fantasy hoops this season.

While many fans may have anticipated a matchup between Trae Young and Ja Morant, they'll get Forrest vs. Tyus Jones instead. Forrest is one of two additions to the starting lineup, with Okongwu stepping in for the injured Clint Capela. Forrest is worth a "swing" in deeper leagues because the Hawks are down two point guards, but fantasy managers should keep their expectations in check. 

Hunter is making his return from a four-game absence and will get the starting nod, but A.J. Griffin will remain in the starting five alongside him. With Dejounte Murray out, Forrest will make his first start of the season. He posted an11/2/3/2 line on Friday against the Nets in a season-high 28 minutes. Forrest is on the streaming radar Sunday.

With Dejounte Murray out, Aaron Holiday moved into the starting lineup. That means that there was an opening for backup point guard in Atlanta, which Forrest filled in his first audition on Friday. His impact defensively was a huge reason that Atlanta was able to close the gap with Trae Young on the bench. He likely wonâ??t be an option outside of the deepest of leagues, but he should have a role with Dejounte sidelined.
