Svi Mykhailiuk led the Jazz with 27 points (10-of-20 FGs), three rebounds, three assists and five three-pointers in a 145-111 loss to the Thunder on Friday.
Mykhailiuk, who hadn’t scored in double figures since March 5, shattered his previous season-high of 19 points in the blowout loss. In fact, he set a new career-high for scoring, surpassing his previous mark of 26 points, which he had reached twice. In fact, the Jazz are now the fourth team that Mykhailiuk has scored 25 points in a game for. He should continue to play a significant role in the season finale against the Timberwolves on Sunday, but he may not replicate his production from this game.
Svi Mykhailiuk (foot) is available for Friday’s matchup with the Celtics, and Jaden Springer (back) is out.
Springer will miss his ninth game across Utah’s last 10, so his absence isn’t too meaningful in the world of fantasy hoops. Mykhailiuk will return from a two-game absence and presumably handle his typical workload.
Svi Mykhailiuk (foot) and Jaden Springer (back) are out for Wednesday’s game against the Wizards.
Wednesday’s game will be the second straight Mykhailiuk has missed, while Springer has been sidelined for three straight and eight of Utah’s last nine. Neither player significantly impacts fantasy basketball, but there should be more minutes available to Cody Williams.
Svi Mykhailiuk (foot) is out for Monday’s game against the Bulls.
Initially questionable for Monday’s game, Mykhailiuk will not play. While his absence cuts into Utah’s perimeter depth, it does not significantly impact fantasy basketball. There’s no need to hold onto Mykhailiuk in fantasy leagues.
