Vazquez appeared in three games for the Nets before getting injured. He is still dealing with an ankle injury at the time of his release so it will be interesting to see if another team grabs him even though he is not 100 percent healthy.

This backcourt is certainly patchwork going forward, as the Nets are now without their top two point guards. Randy Foye's combo guard skillset will certainly help fill the void, but the lack of experience between Isaiah Whitehead and Sean Kilpatrick is going to be a tough hurdle to clear.
