Cory Joseph (knee) is out for Sunday’s game against the Hawks.
Joseph will not play in Sunday’s regular season finale, as the Magic will host the Hawks in a play-in tournament matchup on Tuesday. Anthony Black will replace the veteran guard in the starting lineup, and he’s worth the risk in active deep leagues. He may not be a consistent shooter, but Black can rack up some steals against a Hawks lineup that will lack its top three players (Trae Young, Onyeka Okongwu and Dyson Daniels).
Cory Joseph (knee) is questionable to play against the Hawks on Sunday.
Cory Joseph (knee) is active for Friday’s game against the Pacers.
Joseph is dealing with a minor knee injury but is healthy enough to play on Friday. He appears to be set to continue starting at point guard.
Cory Joseph started again on Sunday and finished with three points (1-of-4 FGs), three rebounds, four assists, three steals and one three-pointer against the Cavaliers.
Despite Cole Anthony (toe) returning to the lineup, Joseph was able to hold on to his spot as Orlando’s starting point guard. It could be just because it was Anthony’s first game back, but it could certainly be because this is a permanent change. We may have to wait longer to figure that out since Anthony exited early from this game because of the toe injury. Joseph wasn’t productive in this game, but reserve guard Anthony Black was able to turn in a solid 17/3/2/2 line with three three-pointers off the bench.
