Hollis Thompson

Thompson signed with the Kings just over a week ago, but he was unable to play in the preseason due to a hip injury. He'll now, unsurprisingly, be left off the final roster at the start of the regular season.

Thompson will miss Sacramento's final exhibition as he continues to deal with right hip bursitis. It remains to be seen whether the 28-year-old will be on the Kings' roster for opening night next Wednesday.

This is the Kings' final preseason game, so Thompson will not take the floor again before the start of the regular season. However, it's unclear whether or not Thompson will be on the Kings' roster by the time the regular season rolls around.

Thompson recently wrapped up his season with the G League's Northern Arizona Suns, during which he averaged 16.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.5 triples in 34.0 minutes per game over 30 appearances. With the swingman apparently garnering no interest from NBA teams for a late-season callup, he'll play overseas for the next few months before returning stateside.
