Kevin Martin
Player News
NBA guard Kevin Martin has announced his retirement.
Martin last played for the Spurs in the 2015-16 season, but was an unsigned free agent this season. He leaves the game and made a $100,000 donation via the Kevin Martin Youth Foundation, to help the athletic efforts of youth in Zanesville, OH, his birthplace and the location where he played high school basketball.
Kevin Martin (illness) was a full participant at Spurs practice.
Martin has seemingly moved past this illness that kept him out of both Games 3 and 4 and will be ready for the Spurs series against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Martin showed in the first two games of the series he can be an offensive spark off of the bench and the Spurs will need that to help them beat the Thunder in round two.
Kevin Martin (illness) will not play on Sunday.
With the Spurs up 3-0 and the Spurs absolutely dominating the Grizzlies, they can afford to sit Martin in game four. Martin isn't even a huge part of the rotation, so expect Manu Ginobli and Kyle Anderson to play more.
Kevin Martin has an illness and will not return to Friday's game.
Martin never got into Friday's game as the illness left him questionable but it appears he's just not healthy enough to play.
