Dion Waiters
Player News
Dion Waiters is inactive for Friday's game against the Heat.
Waiters, who has missed most of the preseason due to a groin injury, was active for Game 1 but did not play. He's been moved back to the inactive list for Game 2, with rookie Talen Horton-Tucker replacing him.
Dion Waiters (left groin) wasn't on the Lakers' injury report for Game 1 on Wednesday, but he also didn't leave the bench.
No surprise here, as Waiters hasn't been a reliable part of L.A.'s rotation in the postseason -- all of his minutes have come in garbage time. Because he was previously a member of the Heat, he's likely going to receive a championship ring regardless of what happens in the Finals.
Dion Waiters (left groin) is not being listed on the injury report for Game 1 of the Finals against the Heat on Wednesday.
Waiters hasn't played since Game 2 of the Lakers' second-round series with the Rockets, but it's possible he'll be on the active roster for Game 1 of the Finals. It's also possible this is simply a clerical error, so he might be added to the IR report tomorrow. Either way, he's irrelevant in fantasy hoops.
Dion Waiters (left groin) is questionable for Saturday's Game 5 matchup with the Nuggets.
This is the first time Waiters is being listed as questionable since going down with the groin injury, which is progress, but whether he plays or not will not make a difference in fantasy hoops.
