Terrence Jones
Player News
Terrence Jones has signed a deal to play in Puerto Rico.
Jones has been out of the NBA for a couple seasons and was never able to establish himself after a few promising years to begin his career in Houston. Still only 28 years old, there's no guarantee he'll get another shot in the states.
Jones' second 10-day contract with the Rockets has ended and the team won't be signing him to an extension, Mark Berman of Fox 26 Houston reports.
Jones appeared in just two games for the Rockets over his past 20 days with the team. He'll likely head back to the G League to close out the season, unless he can land another 10-day contract elsewhere.
Jones won't be available for Monday's game against Charlotte due to illness, Mark Berman of Fox 26 Houston reports.
Jones was recalled from the G League on Thursday and scored two points in four minutes against the Sixers on Friday, but he'll be on the shelf for Monday's clash. He'll have a chance to return for Wednesday's matchup with Golden State.
Jones was assigned to the G League on Wednesday, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Jones signed a second 10-day deal with the Rockets earlier in the week, but he's only appeared in one of seven games since joining the team.
