Instead, Phoenix inked undrafted rookie Emanuel Terry to a 10-day deal prior to Sunday's 116-102 loss to the Lakers, with the big man making his NBA debut as the team's third-string center. Acy didn't make much of an impact during his nearly three-week stint with Phoenix, averaging 1.7 points (on 22.2 percent shooting from the field), 2.5 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 12.1 minutes per game across 10 outings.

Acy matched his career high in blocks while filling up the stat sheet and earning double-digit minutes for the first time through seven appearances this season. The 28-year-old forward is probably only worth targeting in the deepest formats or as a dart throw in daily leagues.

Acy made his Suns debut Jan. 8 against the Kings and, since then, has totaled one point, one rebound and one steal across 35 minutes. Despite the lack of box score stats, Phoenix seems to be satisfied with his overall contributions, bringing him back for another 10 days.

It was reported earlier that Acy was expected to sign a 10-day contract with the Suns and it's now official. Phoenix has been looking to add frontcourt depth and/or veteran leadership and Acy fits the mold perfectly. If the former Baylor forward performs well during the next 10 days, there's a good chance Phoenix will sign him for the rest of the season.
