Hedo Turkoglu
Player News
Hedo Turkoglu has officially announced his retirement from the NBA.
Turkoglu played in 62 games with the Clippers last season, but he failed to catch on anywhere in the summer. He averaged 11.1 ppg, 2.8 apg and 4.0 rpg over his 15-year NBA career. He played for six NBA teams, most notably the Kings and Magic.
Hedo Turkoglu is not considering playing overseas at the moment and is still hoping to get an NBA camp invite.
Turkoglu won't have much fantasy value this season, and it's a high likelihood that he may begin the season as a free agent. Do not draft Turkoglu in your league's draft for the 2015-2016 season.
Coach Doc Rivers said Hedo Turkoglu's ankle should not be a problem.
It's Hedo Turkoglu's game that is a problem. When you can't run or jump anyway, what difference does an ankle injury make? If Turkoglu plays more than three or four minutes Sunday that would be the real problem for the Clippers.
Hedo Turkoglu is out Friday with a stomach virus.
Turkoglu has been a fantasy zero this season, so his absence is no big deal to most of us. Look for forward production out of other players.
