Chase Budinger
Player News
Free agent veteran Chase Budinger has signed with Baskonia in Spain.
Budinger has been a journeyman since being drafted out of Arizona nine seasons ago. He was in Brooklyn for training camp but was beaten out for the last of the roster spots. The wing player will now try and prove himself in the second best league in the world before potentially coming back to the NBA.
Nets are signing Chase Budinger to a contract.
Budinger has signed for the Nets after spending his 2015 season with the Pacers and Suns, where he played in 66 games and averaged about 4 points per game. He should provide depth off the bench for the Nets, who have been quite busy this offseason having signed Randy Foye, Anthony Bennett, Caris LeVert, Jeremy Lin, and Trevor Booker.
Celtics have reached out to free-agent Chase Budinger.
Despite his struggles this past season, Budinger has proven to be a shooter throughout his career and the Celtics would like to add a player with that skill set so this could be a solid fit. However, the role and minutes will be limited wherever the 28-year-old lands so he doesn’t bring much upside in any formats.
Suns will sign Chase Budinger.
Budinger was let go by the Pacers as they brought Ty Lawson into the fold, and has caught on with the Suns. He has no fantasy value at this time.
