Samuel Dalembert

Once fully evaluated by the powers that be, hopefully justice is adequately served. As most already, this has no fantasy implications being that Dalembert hasn't been relevant in years.

Dalembert had a decent preseason, but the veteran suffered a leg injury that kept him out of the final game. The injury may have contributed to his release.

Dalembert missed his third-straight preseason game Friday due to a knee injury which has been lingering for some time now. It's also at the point where the team doesn't feel that he will be ready to start the regular season on-time either. Given his age, the injury and the number of players ahead of him on the depth chart, the Mavs are obviously ready to move on.

He has played through the injury previously so this is just a move to keep him fresh for the start of the regular season in less than a week. It is unclear who the starting center for Dallas will be but Dalembert will likely figure heavily into the mix but even with that he has limited fantasy value at this point in his career.
