Richardson (quad) is good to go Wednesday night, while the absence of Jonas Valanciunas means that Hernangomez received the starting nod in the middle. Willy had streaming value even before this due to the absence of Larry Nance (ankle). 

Hernangomez was in the rotation Wednesday night, as the Pelicans were without Larry Nance (groin) for their final game before the All-Star break. As has been the case on multiple occasions this season, Hernangomez made the most of his opportunity to play extended minutes. Starting center Jonas Valanciunas also recorded a double-double, finishing with 12 points, 11 rebounds, two assists, and one steal in 31 minutes. Should fantasy managers consider adding Hernangomez after Wednesday's performance? No. The Pelicans won't play again for a week, and Nance should be back by then. 

With Jonas Valanciunas out due to right quad soreness, Hernangomez played a season-high 28 minutes off the bench, which allowed him to record his first double-double of the season. He also set new season-highs for points and rebounds. The Pelicans play the Hawks on Tuesday, so if Valanciunas remains sidelined, Hernangomez could be in for another big night. JV was initially listed as doubtful for this game, so there's a decent chance that he misses another. Hernangomez is currently available in 99% of leagues.

Hernangomez played 23 minutes to Jonas Valanciunas's 18 in this game, which allowed him provide some value. There was no report of an injury for Valanciunas, so the minutes allocation was relatively surprising. However, this doesn't mean that there's a reason to roster Hernangomez. He saw an extended role in this game, but that likely won't continue in future games.
