Dorsey was with the Mavericks on a two-way contract, making three appearances for the club and averaging 3.0 points in 2.7 minutes per game. With Dorsey's spot available, the Mavericks will sign AJ Lawson to a two-way contract. 

The Dallas two-way guard had 22 points against Belgium on Sunday and is looking great for Greece. A couple of his threes came at clutch time in the fourth quarter but he'll be a tough guy to roster in fantasy considering he'll spend quality time in the G-League, as well as with the Mavs. 

We all know what Giannis Antetokounmpo (26/7/1/2 with one 3-pointer in 27 minutes) can do on any stage, but Dorsey may be a bit of a mystery to some. A second-round pick in 2017, Dorsey starred overseas before inking a two-way contract with the Mavericks this summer. Such a deal doesn't lend itself to a player grabbing rotation minutes immediately, but Dorsey's name is one to keep on the radar in deeper fantasy leagues. Luka Doncic and Spencer Dinwiddie will lead the way on the perimeter for Dallas this season, but the departure of Jalen Brunson opens up minutes for a player like Dorsey. No need to consider drafting him right now, but keep an eye on Dorsey during the preseason. 

With Jalen Brunson having moved on to the Knicks, the Mavericks had room for another capable playmaker on the roster. Enter Dorsey, a former second-round pick who most recently starred for Olympiacos in Greece. While his first stint in the NBA didn't go too well, Dorsey went overseas and developed into one of the best guards in Europe. Adding him to the roster on a two-way deal is a move in which the potential reward far outweighs the risk. No need for fantasy managers to consider adding Dorsey to their draft boards, however.
