Taj Gibson (illness) has been ruled out of Monday’s matchup with the Warriors.
Gibson was a late addition to Monday’s injury report, so his absence isn’t too surprising. Charlotte’s frontcourt rotation is at full strength, so Gibson’s status does not affect fantasy basketball.
Taj Gibson (illness) is questionable to play against the Warriors on Monday.
Gibson is a late addition to the injury report, but with Mark Williams, Moussa Diabate and Jusuf Nurkic all healthy, Gibson won’t be part of the team’s rotation either way.
The Hornets will start LaMelo Ball, Nick Smith Jr., Josh Green, Miles Bridges and Taj Gibson against the Pelicans on Saturday.
With Mark Williams sidelined, Gibson will make a return to the starting lineup. Gibson isn’t a player to consider rostering in any format, and this isn’t a guarantee that he’ll play starter-level minutes. Moussa Diabate should fill out the backup center minutes.
The Hornets will start Vasilije Micic, Brandon Miller, Josh Green, Cody Martin and Taj Gibson against Cleveland on Saturday.
With both Nick Richards and Moussa Diabate sidelined for this game, Gibson will enter the starting unit. He isn’t a great fantasy option, even with the extended role. Mark Williams will continue to play a limited role off the bench as they ease him back into the rotation.
