Quinn Cook
Player News
Sacramento waived Quinn Cook on Thursday.
Cook was only on an Exhibit 10 deal, so this was expected. He's more likely find a G-League team to play for than he is an NBA squad, so this won't impact fantasy hoops.
The Kings are signing PG Quinn Cook to a one-year deal.
Cook played in the G-League for the Stockton Kings last season and will compete for the third-string point guard job this year. Which means he's not going to have fantasy value unless there are some injuries to the Kings' backcourt.
The Kings have reportedly shown interest in unrestricted free agent Quinn Cook.
Cook spent last season playing overseas and then with Sacramento's G League affiliate, but it's possible he could find a minimum-level deal with the Kings to serve in a mentorship role to the younger guys. He wouldn't have any value as the third-string point guard on the roster, but he has reportedly received interest from multiple teams, so it looks like he might be back in the NBA this season.
Quinn Cook has agreed to a contract with the Stockton Kings of the NBA G League.
Cook began this season in Blazers training camp but was ultimately one of the team's final cuts. The former Golden State Warrior spent time in Russia before returning stateside and eventually agreeing to a deal with Stockton.
