Michael Beasley

Beasley played for Brooklyn in the bubble and for Portland during Summer League, but he hasn’t played for a team since then. He’ll make his return to professional basketball for the Sharks, which could eventually lead to a return to the NBA. However, even if that happens, he won’t have an impact in fantasy hoops. 

Beasley is a former No. 2 overall pick in the NBA Draft who has 11 seasons of NBA experience and has played in over 600 NBA games. He has not played in the NBA since suiting up for 26 games with the Lakers in the 2018-2019 season. According to Scotto, The Clippers, as well as the Blazers are in the mix for Isaiah Hartenstein, and James Ennis has drawn interest from the Bulls, Magic, and Lakers as well. Portland is looking to add some depth at the forward spot, so it will be interesting to see which direction they end up going. 

Maybe Beasley will be able to play himself into a training camp invite, and from there it's possible he could snag a minimum level deal, but he's well past his days of relevancy in fantasy hoops.

Beasley is a former No. 2 overall pick for the Heat in the 2008 draft but Beasley's career never really came together. Maybe he'll get another shot at the NBA later this season.
