Kyle Anderson (illness) has been upgraded to available to play against the Cavaliers on Monday.
Anderson was a late addition to the injury report, but he will suit up for Game 4. Slo Mo played six minutes in Game 1 but didn’t see the floor in Game 2 or Game 3. Don’t expect that to change with Miami looking to keep its season alive.
Kyle Anderson (illness) is questionable for Monday’s matchup with the Cavaliers.
Anderson’s only action in the Heat’s first-round series against the Cavs was six minutes in Game 1. His availability won’t impact Miami’s rotation in Game 4.
Kyle Anderson shot 5-of-10 from the field and 2-of-2 from the foul line in Saturday’s loss to the Bucks, tallying 12 points, 14 rebounds, three assists and one steal in 22 minutes.
Anderson has reached double figures in scoring in three of his last four outings, and Saturday’s double-double was his first since February 13. Since the All-Star break, Slo Mo has been ranked outside the top 250 in eight- and nine-cat formats. While Saturday’s stat line was solid, it should not be considered a good enough reason to add him ahead of Week 23 if your league will be active.
Kyle Anderson compiled 15 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and two blocked shots across 27 minutes in Thursday’s loss to the Mavericks.
There was nothing slow to Slow Mo’s game in this one, as he finished third in scoring while leading Miami in rebounds. Anderson had played a total of 10 minutes for the Heat prior to this one, but a number of injuries forced him into action. Fantasy managers shouldn’t expect big games out of Anderson on a regular basis, but Thursday’s performance was a nice reminder of how productive he can be when given the opportunity.
