Jonas Jerebko
Player News
Jerebko has agreed to a two-year contract with the Euroleague club Khimki Moscow Region, Yahoo Sports reports.
Since 2014-15, Jerebko has played at least 73 games every season in the NBA, but he's opted to take on a bigger role with an overseas club. He'll be entering his age 32 season in 2019-20, so it seems unlikely he'll attempt an NBA comeback once his two-year contract is up in the Euroleague.
Jerebko totaled 18 points (6-10 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT) and four rebounds across 18 minutes in the Warriors' win over the Timberwolves on Tuesday.
Jerebko scored 18 points in just 18 minutes of action in Tuesday's win -- his most points since Dec. 22. His scoring outburst won't likely be replicated any time soon, especially with DeMarcus Cousins (ankle) set to return to the lineup on Thursday.
Jerebko managed two points (0-1 FG, 2-2 FT) and one rebound in three minutes during Saturday's 110-88 win over the Thunder.
Jerebko has combined to earn just seven minutes across his last two appearances, and he was a healthy scratch for the two games that took place in between (last Sunday versus Suns, this Wednesday versus Rockets). The 32-year-old veteran has been buried on the depth chart lately, and he hasn't been a viable option outside of the deepest leagues since December.
Jerebko (quad) will play Thursday against the Magic, Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
As expected, Jerebko will be able to play despite a bruised right quad. With Kevin Durant (rest) out, Jerebko could see extra minutes.
