Martin signed a contract with the Shenzhen Leopards on Friday, Emiliano Carchia of Sportando.com reports.
Martin last appeared in the NBA with the Magic in 2018, averaging 2.7 points and 2.7 rebounds over 42 contests. He'll aim to have a greater impact overseas.
Martin generated nine points (2-6 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds, three steals, one assist, and one block in 27 minutes during Tuesday's 118-95 loss to the Celtics.
Martin drew the start with Tristan Thompson (groin), John Henson (groin), and Ante Zizic (foot) all sidelined. Martin made the most of his opportunity, turning in a solid defensive effort while nearing a double-double. He's unlikely to hold much value in fantasy this season unless the aforementioned injuries linger.
Martin is starting Tuesday's preseason game against the Celtics, Spencer Davies of BBall Insiders reports.
With Tristan Thompson (rest), John Henson (groin) and Ante Zizic (foot) all ruled out, Martin will enter the starting five again. He'll start alongside Collin Sexton, Matthew Dellavedova, Cedi Osman and Kevin Love.
