Glenn Robinson

Having last appeared in an NBA game during the 2020-21 season as a member of the Sacramento Kings, Robinson is looking to earn himself another opportunity. In addition to Boston, he has also worked out for the Warriors this summer. The Celtics are looking to round out their roster, and in addition to GRIII it’s been reported that T.J. Warren, Lamar Stevens, and Louis King have all scheduled workouts with the team. Boston only has 13 players under contract for next season, and they have five open training camp slots to work with as well.

GR3 has been out of the NBA for a few seasons, and he last spent time with the Kings during the 2020-21 season. If he’s able to land a contract with the Warriors, he won’t crack their rotation.

He's been out for "personal" reasons but there was rampant speculation about him moving on from the Kings before this news hit. DaQuan Jeffries has impressed in limited minutes with the Kings and could be a full-time rotation player with this news. 

Robinson will need to go through a six-day quarantine once he does return to the team, so it's safe to say he'll be missing at least the next three games for Sacramento and possibly more. DaQuan Jeffries has been more involved in the rotation with GRIII on the inactive list.
