The Timberwolves have waived Eric Paschall.
Paschall was on a two-way deal with the club, but now he'll need to search for another contract. Regardless of where he winds up, we wouldn't anticipate him having any fantasy value.
Eric Paschall (left ankle, Achilles tendinosis) will miss the Wolves' season opener against Oklahoma City.
The 2019 second-round pick is on a two-way deal with a deep Minnesota team, so fantasy managers don't need to look in his direction even once he's healthy.
Eric Paschall agreed to a two-way deal with the Timberwolves on Friday, per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
When reports came out about Paschall potentially heading to Greece, he shut those down pretty quickly. Instead, he'll follow Rudy Gobert to Minnesota after playing with him in Utah last season. Paschall will be a depth team on one of the best Minnesota teams ever. He probably won't see enough of a role to be valuable in fantasy hoops.
Panathinaikos BC are trying to make a big move on the market and they want to add Eric Paschall in their roster, per George Zakkas.
Paschall spent last season as a backup for Utah. He had a few solid performances but was relatively unimportant in fantasy hoops. If he stays in the NBA, he probably won't find a large role to make him valuable, unless he joins a tanking team. If he heads over to Greece, you can disregard him, obviously.
