Ed Davis will move into the starting lineup for Monday's matchup with the Knicks.
Jarrett Allen (illness) is taking the night off, so Davis will draw the spot-start and he'll be joined by Darius Garland, Isaac Okoro, Dean Wade and Evan Mobley in the first unit tonight. In his two starts this season, Davis has compiled averages of 6.5 points, 12.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per contest on 66.7% shooting, so he's a viable DFS target tonight.
Ed Davis saw six minutes off the bench in his return to action on Thursday and he finished without any statistics.
Davis was available to play after clearing the health & safety protocols, but his only minutes came in garbage time, despite Jarrett Allen (conditioning) being unavailable. There’s no reason to have this man on your fantasy roster.
Ed Davis (health and safety protocols) will be available for Thursday's game against the Wizards.
Davis may crack the rotation in his return, as the Cavaliers will be without starting center Jarrett Allen (protocols). However, he isn't productive enough to merit being called upon as a streaming option in most leagues.
Ed Davis enters the NBA's health and safety protocols list and will not be available for Tuesday's game against the Celtics.
Davis was potentially looking at a spot-start tonight with both Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen in quarantine, but instead, we might see Kevin Love get the start tonight and Luke Kornet should be able to get into the rotation. Both those guys make sense as DFS options, with Kornet being the riskier play.
