Donte DiVincenzo had 24 points (9-of-15 FGs), three rebounds, two assists and six three-pointers against the Bucks on Tuesday.
DiVincenzo’s 24 points were the most he’s scored in a game since March 2 against the Suns, when he also had 24 points. The 28-year-old point guard came off the bench and was feeling it going 6-of-10 from behind the three-point line. DiVincenzo is capable of getting hot, but his fantasy ceiling is almost nonexistent given his role as a bench player who typically plays around 20 minutes per game.
Donte DiVincenzo and Naz Reid have been suspended for one game for their roles in Sunday’s altercation with the Pistons.
DiVincenzo and Reid are among five players to get suspended, along with Detroit’s Ron Holland, Marcus Sasser and Isaiah Stewart. The Wolves face the Nuggets in a primetime matchup on Tuesday, and with DiVincenzo and Reid sidelined, Jaylen Clark could see a significant boost in playing time, with Nickeil Alexander-Walker picking up some extra minutes, too.
