Dillon Brooks (rest) and Amen Thompson (rest) are off the injury report for Friday’s game against the Lakers.
Brooks and Thompson were among the Rockets’ starters who did not play in Wednesday’s loss to the Clippers. They’ll return to the lineup on Friday, likely pushing Tari Eason and Cam Whitmore to the bench. While Eason should remain rostered in active fantasy leagues, Whitmore does not have to be held in standard formats.
Dillon Brooks (rest) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Clippers.
Brooks is unavailable for rest reasons, leaving Jalen Green as the lone Rockets starter who will play on Wednesday. Tari Eason and Cam Whitmore are well-positioned to benefit from Brooks’ absence, with the former possessing a much higher fantasy ceiling.
Dillon Brooks accounted for 24 points (10-of-13 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, two assists and three three-pointers in 29 minutes in Sunday’s win over the Warriors.
Dillon Brooks finished Wednesday’s win over the Jazz with 21 points (9-of-16 FGs), two rebounds and three three-pointers in 28 minutes.
