The Bucks have waived De'Andre Bembry.
Bembry is out for the season after undergoing right knee surgery. The Bucks have opened a roster spot with this move but it's unclear who they have their eyes on for now.
De'Andre Bembry (knee) has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
Bembry suffered a right knee injury in Saturday night's loss to the Golden State Warriors. Since joining the Bucks he has played nearly 10 minutes per game. Jordan Nwora is expected to absorb those minutes in his absence.
De'Andre Bembry suffered a right knee injury during Saturday's loss to the Warriors and did not return to the game.
Bembry played just four minutes before exiting the game, going scoreless with one steal. He hasn't offered much in the way of fantasy value when healthy, so his injury will not have an impact in that regard. But if Bembry has to miss time the Bucks would take a hit depth-wise, especially with Pat Connaughton (hand) still sidelined.
DeAndre’ Bembry (left thumb soreness) is not listed on the NBA injury report and is set to make his Bucks debut against the Nets on Saturday.
Bembry is a nice guy to have come off a title contender’s bench, but his new landing spot does no favors for his already lackluster fantasy contributions.
