Hours after acquiring House and a second-round pick from the 76ers, the Pistons have waived him. This move should ensure ample playing time for rookie Ausar Thompson and recent addition Quentin Grimes. House is on an expiring deal, so acquiring him will remove a little over $4.3 million from the Pistons’ books come July. As for fantasy impact, it will be minimal at best. Add two more forwards to the 76ers’ list of injured players, with House and Morris joining Nicolas Batum on the sideline. KJ Martin, Furkan Korkmaz, and Jaden Springer can absorb the available minutes, but none are worth streaming in most fantasy leagues.

Embiid is back after a two-game absence, but the 76ers will be without Nicolas Batum (hamstring). House will fill the resulting void, with Beverley making another start for the injured Tyrese Maxey (ankle).
