Gallo started off the season with the Wizards after being traded from Boston over the summer. Then he was traded to the Pistons in the Marvin Bagley deal, and he played in six games with Detroit. They waived him after the trade deadline, and now he’ll go ring hunting with the Bucks. He’s a solid veteran piece that may see the floor, but it is unlikely that he impacts fantasy basketball.

Gallinari was listed as “not with team” ahead on Thursday’s game, and now it is clear why. Gallo will likely look to find a new home with a contending team, but there probably isn’t a situation that gives him enough minutes to impact fantasy basketball.

After playing 11 minutes in Wednesday’s win over Sacramento, Gallinari is not with the team. Due to the many trades made by the Pistons, Monty Williams will be working with a limited roster in Portland. James Wiseman could move into the rotation as Jalen Duren’s backup, but he would not be worth streaming.

With Isaiah Stewart (ankle) sidelined, Gallinari was in line for an increase in playing time on Wednesday. Spot starter Mike Muscala exiting during the first half with a head injury opened things up even more for Gallo, and the veteran forward took advantage of his opportunity. Perfect from three, Gallinari hit double figures for the first time since November 27 (vs. DET while a member of the Wizards), and the 20 points are a season-high. Detroit’s final two games of Week 15 are on busier game days (Friday and Sunday), so there may not be much to gain from streaming him if Stewart and Muscala are sidelined.
