Chandler Hutchison has committed to play with the Hawks' Summer League team in Las Vegas, according to HoopsRumors.
A first-round pick of the Bulls in 2018, Hutchison has struggled to establish himself as a pro after a standout college career at Boise State. He'll look to earn himself, at the very least, a training camp spot with the Hawks during next month's Summer League action.
Chandler Hutchison (illness) is not listed on the injury report ahead of Friday's game against the Mavericks.
Hutchison has appeared in just one game this season, so his availability will have no impact in fantasy basketball circles.
The Spurs have waived forward Chandler Hutchison.
He had a guaranteed salary of $4M so the Spurs will eat it and move on. Acquired in the 5-team mega deal that included Russell Westbrook, Hutchison only appeared in 18 games for the Wizards last season and seven games for the Bulls. He could emerge on a training camp roster elsewhere.
Chandler Hutchinson is being traded to San Antonio, along with a 2022 second-round pick as part of a multi-team Spencer Dinwiddie sign-and-trade deal.
Hutchinson averaged 5.2 points and 3.2 rebounds in 15.7 minutes last season for the Wizards. Washington had been looking to unload his $4 million salary and attached a second-round pick to get it done. It's unlikely he lands on the fantasy radar in 2020-21.
