Brandon Ingram (ankle) is out for the rest of the season.

Given the time missed and the Raptors’ heading to the draft lottery, Ingram’s omission is unsurprising. He received a PRP injection in his foot on Tuesday, and the expectation is that he will be available for Toronto’s summer program. The former Pelicans wing did not appear in a game for the Raptors after being acquired at the trade deadline. While capable of offering top-75 fantasy value, Ingram’s injury woes make him challenging to trust in most fantasy leagues.

Raptors coach Darko Rajakovic said Friday that Brandon Ingram (ankle) will “hopefully” progress to full participation in practice and full practice next week.

Ingram has not made his Raptors debut, as he injured his ankle in early December while a member of the Pelicans and has been sidelined since. While Rajakovic’s update is positive, it will not impact fantasy basketball this season. Most leagues do not include Week 23, and even if Ingram were to be cleared to appear in a game, his minutes would likely be limited. Ingram can provide solid fantasy value, which can be assumed even though we’ve yet to see him share the court with Scottie Barnes. However, injury issues will dent his value during draft season. Ingram has not exceeded 65 games since his rookie season.

Brandon Ingram (ankle) has progressed to doing some running and lateral footwork but has not been cleared for contact.

Ingram has yet to make his Raptors debut, and that will not change anytime soon. While he has progressed to doing some running and lateral footwork drills, the veteran forward has not been cleared for contact. With the Raptors due to provide another update on Ingram in ten days, there’s no need to stash him on fantasy rosters.

Brandon Ingram (ankle) is progressing in his recovery but remains limited to individual work.

At Ingram’s introductory press conference, it was made clear that ensuring he’s healthy for the start of the 2025-26 season is the priority in Toronto. While increasing his on-court activity, the veteran forward remains limited to individual work, and the Raptors will provide a status update in two weeks. Unless he can be stashed in an IL+ slot, fantasy managers should drop Ingram, especially if they can find a solid contributor on their league’s waiver wire.
