Andre Roberson
Player News
Andre Roberson will sign a 10-day contract with the Nets.
Iman Shumpert will also get a 10-day deal. With Kevin Durant (hamstring) still on the shelf, Roberson and Shumpert will simply provide emergency depth and are not on the fantasy radar.
Andre Roberson has been waived by the Nets.
Roberson appeared in a pair of games but he'll be jettisoned prior to the deadline for guaranteeing his contract. It's great to see him healthy and playing again, and he plans to sign a 10-day deal with Brooklyn after clearing waivers, but he's not a fantasy asset.
Nets swingman Andre Roberson is available vs. the Suns on Tuesday, according to Alex Schiffer of The Athletic.
Roberson hasn't played a game since Aug. 2020 and he just signed with Brooklyn on Monday night. It's doubtful he'll actually be in the rotation, let alone make a fantasy impact.
Veteran forward Andre Roberson has agreed to sign with the Nets, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
He was a free agent and last played a game on Aug. 14, 2020. But with the Nets struggling on defense, this is a great situation for Roberson to not only make an impact but also play for a contender. He might not log heavy minutes right off the bat and surely won't provide any fantasy value, but this is a good get for Brooklyn as the 6-foot-7 wing is a former All-Defensive player.
