Zane Smith (#38 Ford) finished 3rd in Saturday night's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NTS) TSport 200 at Indianapolis Raceway Park.

He started 21st in the lineup and completed all laps of the 207 run. He is the current points leader in the NTS Playoffs standings, leading Ben Rhodes (finished 2nd in the TSport 200) by 14 points after this event.

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Regular Season Champion, Zane Smith, will start his playoff run with a 15-point lead heading into the opening round at the Indianapolis Raceway Park (IRP).

This weekend’s event at IRP marks the first race since 2011 at the short track, a track that Smith is excited to tackle. Smith is focused ahead to the future races in the playoffs, noting that consistency is what it takes to make it all the way to Phoenix for the championship at the end of the season. Boot Barn returns for their final primary race in the 2022 Truck Series campaign. With a string of strong finishes with Boot Barn on the truck, Smith hopes to keep the streak going.

He started on the pole and completed all laps of the 60 run. Smith finished the regular season as the leader in the standings which earned him the “regular season” 2022 NTS Championship title. Smith heads into the NTS Round of 10 top-seeded in the Playoff standings with 2,037 re-seeded points, 15 ahead of 2nd-seeded Chandler Smith (race winner of the Pocono event).
