AJ Allmendinger

All three of his victories this year have come on road courses. Allmendinger has won four of the last five road course races. This is his first victory and third top-five finish in three races at IRC. Cup Series regular Alex Bowman (second) posted his first top-10 finish in his first IRC start. Riley Herbst (third) posted his second top-10 start at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course. It is his ninth in 20 races this season. Austin Hill (ninth) was the fastest qualifying rookie. 42 cars entered for the NXS 38-car lineup. Did Not Qualify: #66 JJ Yeley, #78 Josh Williams, #13 Brad Perez and #90 Mason Filippi.

A lap of 95.680 mph was the fastest of the 42 cars out on the track.#21 Austin Hill (95.524 mph), #36 Alex Labbe (95.487 mph), #2 Sheldon Creed (95.439 mph) and #07 Chase Briscoe (95.436 mph) (165.044 mph) rounded out the top-five fastest in this session. #35 Parker Kligerman, at 88.529 mph, was the slowest.

He started 4th in the lineup and completed all laps of the 90 run. He continues his position as the points leader in the NXS championship point standings by 16 points over Justin Allgaier (finished 7th in the Explore the Pocono Mountains 225).
