It’s the first homer and first two steals for the shortstop, but he’s slashed .409/.435/.591 in the first five games of the season, so obviously this isn’t the first big game of the year. Wilson has one of the best hit tools in the minors thanks to his ability to make hard contact all over, but he’s not bereft of power, and he should be able to stay up the middle for good measure. Wilson could be one of the first members of the 2023 draft class to reach the majors, and there’s certainly fantasy upside in his right-handed bat.
