Tawa added a run for the Diamondbacks in the fifth inning with a solo homer off Zack Littell. It was his third home run of the season while adding two stolen bases over 36 plate appearances as he continues to fill in a second base for the injured Ketel Marte.

He remains off fantasy radars with Ketel Marte (hamstring) nearing a return and Jordan Lawlar inching closer to a call-up.

The versatile 25-year-old has taken full advantage of the Pacific Coast League’s hitter friendly environment this season, hitting 391 (9-for-23) with three homers and two steals through six games. He offers enough power/speed combo potential to merit consideration in deeper mixed leagues as a speculative pickup, but he’ll have to produce if he’s going to stick around at the highest level beyond a couple weeks.
