Twins recalled LHP Kody Funderburk from Triple-A St. Paul.
Funderburk will make his 2025 debut after throwing 5 2/3 scoreless innings for St. Paul. He has a 5.01 ERA and a 51/20 K/BB in 46 2/3 innings out of the Twins pen since reaching the majors in 2023.

Funderburk had been out since July with a strained oblique. He allowed four runs in one inning for the Twins on Friday against the Orioles. With two games left in the season, he’ll finish out the year in the minor leagues.

Funderburk had been out since July 21 with a strained oblique. He pitched in four rehab games before the Triple-A season ended, giving up eight runs in 5 1/3 innings. He’ll probably serve as the last man in the pen these final three days.
