Tim Herrin was removed from Saturday’s outing against the Pirates in the eighth inning due to a left arm injury.
Herrin was drilled in the arm by a line drive off the bat of Oneil Cruz. The ball appeared to hit him just above the elbow on his left arm. He’ll head for further evaluation — and possibly imaging — to see exactly what’s going on there. The Guardians should have an update on his status shortly.
