Davis returns to the majors with Dodgers ace Tyler Glasnow (shoulder) hitting the injured list prior to Monday’s series opener against the Marlins. The 28-year-old righy has made three relief appearances this season for Los Angeles. He’ll operate in middle relief situations out of the bullpen.

Davis is back in the minors after the Dodgers activated recently-acquired Yoendrys Gomez to the roster. Davis could be back at some point over the summer in a low-leverage role.
