Mariners optioned LHP Tayler Saucedo to Triple-A Tacoma.
Saucedo heads back to the minors following a one-game stint with the Mariners. The 31-year-old lefty figures to return at some point down the line.
Mariners recalled LHP Tayler Saucedo from Triple-A Tacoma.
Saucedo was ineffective in the early portion of 2025 and sent down to Tacoma, but the Mariners need the bullpen help and will hope the 31-year-old can find his form. He’ll work in the middle innings.

Saucedo was awful in a relief appearance Friday against the Giants while allowing two runs and getting one out. He’ll go back to Triple-A to work on some things, and should be back as a low-leverage option at some point this spring.
Mariners activated LHP Tayler Saucedo off the 15-day injured list.
Saucedo ended up missing just over the minimum 15-day stint on the injured list, which is fairly remarkable considering how ugly things looked when he hyperextended his knee. The left-hander provides help in the mid-to-late innings with Eduard Bazardo heading down to Triple-A in the corresponding transaction.
