White Sox optioned LHP Jared Shuster to Triple-A Charlotte.
Shuster will begin the 2025 season with the Knights after forging an ugly 11.57 ERA in his Cactus League action. The 26-year-old will likely be up with Chicago at some point in some sort of multi-inning role.
Jared Shuster allowed five runs over two innings in his Cactus League outing against the Cubs on Saturday.
Shuster allowed all five runs in the second inning. The 26-year-old worked mostly as an opener for the lowly White Sox in 2024, and even if he wins one of the spots in the Chicago rotation, he should absolutely be avoided in any eligible fantasy format.
