2024 Player Outlook

2023 Recap: Walker had a slow-ish start to the 2023 season, but once things slowed down for him, he showed just how good he can be. From August 1 on, he slashed .286/.356/.470 with a .355 wOBA and 126 wRC+. He also posted a 7.8 percent barrel rate and 14.3-degree launch angle, which are numbers that can be very profitable from a fantasy perspective. 

2024 Outlook: In 2024, it's just playing baseball for Walker, who should be a bit more comfortable playing in the outfield in Year 2, and he's going to be a fantasy force, even if his stolen base numbers don't quite get to some of the numbers he posted in the minors, namely his 22 stolen bases in Double-A in 2022. Walker will be just 22 years old and is knocking on the door of fantasy stardom, as he has all the tools to hit for a high average with above-average power numbers. Walker has all the upside in the world, and he'll be a guy you want on your fantasy teams in 2024.
