Heston Kjerstad (elbow) is back in the lineup for Tuesday’s series opener against the Nationals.
Kjerstad is back in left field and batting sixth on Tuesday night at Nationals Park following a one-game absence due to right elbow discomfort. It doesn’t seem like a serious concern moving forward.
Heston Kjerstad (elbow) is not in the lineup for Sunday’s series finale against the Guardians.
No real surprise here following Kjerstad’s early exit from Saturday’s showdown with right elbow discomfort. The encouraging news here for fantasy managers is that the 26-year-old doesn’t appear to have suffered serious injury after being hit by a pitch. He’s day-to-day for now. It’ll be Ryan O’Hearn moving out to right field with Ramón Laureano entering Sunday’s lineup to play left field.
Heston Kjerstad left Saturday’s game against the Reds with right elbow discomfort.
Kjerstad was plunked in the elbow, and while he was able to continue on the bases, he was replaced defensively with Ramón Laureano taking over for the 26-year-old. Kjerstad will likely undergo further evaluation and his status should be updated before Sunday’s finale with Cincinnati.
Heston Kjerstad went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer against the Blue Jays on Saturday.
Kjerstad had the Orioles’ first hit of the day and it was a big one as he took Bowden Francis deep for a two-run blast in the fifth inning for his first home run of the season. The 26-year-old outfielder should continue to get playing time against right-handed pitching.
