He’s at least worthy of a speculative roster spot in extremely deep mixed leagues and NL-only formats.

Technically, it’s Capra’s fourth big-league season, though he entered the day with a grand total of 37 career plate appearances. He hit six homers this spring to pull off an upset and claim a bench spot, and he’ll likely keep playing third against lefties in a platoon with Oliver Dunn.

The Yankees are starting left-hander Carlos Rodon, so the Brewers will counter with the right-handed Capra instead of presumed starter Oliver Dunn. Capra had a good spring training, hitting .292/.358/.729 with six home runs and 14 RBI in 55 plate appearances. He doesn’t figure to get enough at-bats to be on the fantasy radar for now.
