2025 Player Outlook
Pasquantino doesn't carry the prototypical power of a corner infielder, but he hit 19 home runs, 30 doubles, and drove in 97 runners last season. The Kansas City lineup is intriguing for fantasy purposes, and Pasquantino will slot right in the middle of the order again. He makes a ton of contact, and his bat always finds the ball, highlighted by his 91.9 percent zone contact rate and 96th percentile whiff and strikeout rates. A middling fly ball rate suppresses his power output, but if he can trade a few grounders for fly balls, a .260-.270 season with 22+ home runs and 90+ RBI is in store for him. His lack of big-time power may cause him to slide a few notches at the first base position, making him an even better value at a top-heavy first base position.

Vinnie Pasquantino hit his third homer Saturday off the Astros’ Framber Valdez.
The Royals have taken to dropping Pasquantino in the lineup against lefties, so he was batting seventh tonight. The homer was his sixth in 282 career plate appearances against southpaws. He has practically the same average and OBP against lefties and righties in his career, but he doesn’t typically show as much pop versus lefties.
Vinnie Pasquantino went 3-for-4 with a homer versus the Guardians on Saturday.
Pasquantino raised his average from .167 to .212 and his hard-hit rate from 30% to 35% tonight. Ideally, this will be the year he returned to hitting for average like he did as a rookie in 2022. He’s in a great ballpark for singles and doubles, and he’s fanned just 12% of the time in his career; one would think he should at least be batting .270 regularly.
Vinnie Pasquantino plated the go-ahead run in the eighth inning on Tuesday as the Royals eked out a one-run victory over the Twins.
The Royals got something going in the eighth inning as Bobby Witt Jr. hit a soft ground ball back to the pitcher and raced all the way around to third on a throwing error. Pasquantino then hit a ground ball to first to drive him in and lead the Royals to victory. The 27-year-old slugger finished the day 0-for-4 with a strikeout and is now hitting just .179/.262/.378 on the season with one long ball and 10 RBI.
Vinnie Pasquantino is statting at DH and batting third for the Royals on Wednesday against the Brewers.
Pasquantino got the day off on Tuesday but is right back in the lineup on Wednesday. His hamstring is still an issue, which is why he’s not able to play the field. Salvador Perez is at first base on Wednesday with Freddy Fermin catching.
