Hernández’s has received limited opportunity because the Braves pen has been filled with unoptionable pitchers, but he’s allowed just two runs — one earned — in 11 innings while in the majors this season. Hernández heads back to the minors ahead of Saturday’s game against the Mets. The 27-year-old righty has compiled a crisp 0.82 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 14/6 K/BB ratio across 11 innings (10 appearances) this season in the big leagues.
