He figures to be back at some point in the near future as low-leverage relief depth.

Hernández is officially part of the 26-man roster now after serving as the 27th man in the first game of Wednesday’s planned doubleheader. He’s allowed only an unearned run over 9 2/3 innings out of the Atlanta bullpen this season.

This likely makes room for A.J. Minter to return Tuesday. Hernández loses his spot despite having allowed just one unearned run in 8 2/3 innings this season.
