After taking a seat Monday, Jasson Domínguez is DHing and batting fifth against Michael King and the Padres on Tuesday.

The Yankees weren’t able to muster a single run through the first five innings of the ballgame, but they rallied against Michael Wacha in the sixth inning with an infield single from Aaron Judge and a pair of two-out walks. Austin Wells then worked Angel Zerpa for a walk to score the Bombers’ first run and Domínguez followed with a three-run double that proved to be the difference in the ballgame. He also singled twice in the ballgame, finishing the night 3-for-3. On the season, the 22-year-old outfielder is slashing .275/.362/.431 with one home run, eight RBI and a pair of stolen bases.

Domínguez returned to the lineup after sitting out Friday’s contest. He drove in two runs with a base hit in the fifth before stealing second for his second steal of the season. Domínguez later reached on an infield single in the seventh for his second hit of the day. The 22-year-old outfielder is batting .233/.313/.372 with one homer and seven runs scored across 48 plate appearances.
